3 Museums (3 Museos)

Museo de Historia Mexicana: This museum displays a complete historical collection of the beginnings of Mexico and it’s ethnic culture up to the 20th century.

Museo del Noreste: This museum displays a collection of the history of Northern Mexico including Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas and the South of Texas. From the first population to modern days you will be able to learn more of the history of the North.

Museo del Palacio: Displays the history of Nuevo Leon from the first Spanish colonization up to now a days inside the historical and iconic building of Palacio de Gobierno.

Visits including an English speaking guide can be booked on 20339898 ext 158 at no extra cost from groups of 2 people and up. 

All three museums are open from Tuesday to Sunday

Tuesday and Sunday 10:00 to 20:00

Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 to 18:00

Entrance fee to Museo del Noreste and Historia Mexicana is 40 MXN adults and includes both museums on the same day.

Tuesday and Sunday the entrance is free to all 3 museums.

Kids under 12 are always free, teachers and students as well as senior citizens have a 50% discount with their credentials.

The Museo del Palacio is free for everyone every day.

Museo Marco

Contemporary art museum in one of the most important cultural centers in Latin America which focus is to promote the international contemporary art of Latin America.

Closed on Mondays. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday open from 10:00 to 18:00.

Free entrance on Wednesday. Entrance fee is 80 MXN. Children under 5 years old do not pay entrance. Students, teachers and Senior’s pay 60 MXN showing their valid credentials.

Marco has free parking for their visitors in their basement, the entrance is on Dr. Coss Street.

Planetario Alfa

Alfa Planetarium was created by ALFA Group (ALFA is a company that manages a portfolio of diversified subsidiaries) in 1978 to promote science and technology in Latin America. It is a fun and interactive museum where kids and adults can have fun.

 

Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 14:30 to 19:00 Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:30.

Entrance fee and the movie on IMAX screen is 100 MXN and Wednesdays is 50% off. Children under 3 are free and Students with their credentials are 65 MXN.

The second Tuesday each month is free entrance. On their website you can print the coupons. Also they offer a family pass with 2 adults and 2 kids for 240 MXN.
